FIREFLY: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION
PREMIUM TRADING CARDS FROM INKWORKS
MORRISVILLE,
NC - May, 2006 - Inkworks and Fox Licensing & Merchandising announce the
release of the cards that FIREFLY fans have been waiting for - FIREFLY:
THE COMPLETE COLLECTION PREMIUM TRADING CARDS. Inkworks reports that,
although the product should still be available for purchase at retailers
and distributors, it is already sold out at the manufacturer level.
The limited 72-card series based on Joss Whedon's classic sci-fi
adventure television series will capture the stories as told in the order
originally planned including the three episodes that never aired. The set
will include behind-the-scenes shots, character cards and much more. In
addition to the base set, collectors can look for several levels of
randomly inserted bonus cards including:
- AUTOGRAPH CARDS - ONE PER BOX! Eleven different cards signed by stars
of FIREFLY: Nathan Fillion (as Malcolm Reynolds), Gina Torres (as Zoe
Washburne), Adam Baldwin (as Jayne Cobb), Morena Baccarin (as Inara
Serra), Jewel Staite (as Kaylee Frye), Sean Maher (as Dr. Simon Tam), Ron
Glass (as Shepherd Book), Michael Fairman (as Adlai Niska), Gregg Henry
(as Sheriff Bourne), Christina Hendricks (as Saffron), Jonathan M.
Woodward (Tracey). (11 different cards - Inserted approximately 1:36
packs).
- "FIREFLY FOREVER" - A nine-card foil puzzle that features the crew of
Serenity. (9 different cards - inserted approximately 1:11 packs).
- "THE BATTLE OF SERENITY" - Six foil cards depicting the battle of
Serenity. (6 different cards - inserted approximately 1:17 packs).
- BOX LOADER CARDS - Three cards "PARTNERS" (3 different cards - one per
display box).
- CASE LOADER CARD - One card "OUTLAWS" (1 card - one per shipping case).
Packs of FIREFLY: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION PREMIUM TRADING CARDS have a
suggested retail price of $2.49. Each pack contains six cards with 36
packs in each sealed display box. A FIREFLY: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION
collector album (SRP $19.95) has been created especially for this set and
is the ideal way to store the cards. The "Firefly Forever" nine-card
puzzle is also available as an uncut mini-press sheet. Only 199 of the
sequentially numbered uncut puzzles are available (SRP $69.95).
